GHOSTS – A FILM & MUSIC COLLABORATION
Crash Ensemble commissioned 3 filmmakers, Jack Phelan, Oonagh Kearney & Laura Sheeran to create works in response to their 2017 Bedroom Community album, Ghosts. Ghosts, the visual album will receive its premiere screening for MusicTown.

Oonagh Kearney has written and directed one full-length documentary and nine short films with the support of the Irish Arts Council, Irish Film Board, RTE, TG4, BRITDOC and The Wellcome Trust. Jack Phelan is a video artist and technologist who specialises in integrating new visual ideas and technology into live performance. Laura Sheeran is a musician and video director based in Dublin. Laura’s musical career began singing with Fovea Hex, an avant garde collective founded by Clodagh Simonds’ (Mellow Candle, Mike Oldfield). Members of the collective include Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Carter Burwell and Colin Potter (Nurse with Wound). Laura also works in video and theatre. She and has collaborated on seven productions with Irish writer Little John Nee, providing visuals, music and sound design for several of Nee’s productions between 2004-2017.
